Sisoft is in HIMSS 2018 Eurasia Istanbul
 

HIMSS Eurasia 2018 Turkey, whose Platinum Sponsors include Sisoft, was held in İstanbul Pullman Hotel Yenibosna on October 25-27 by the collaboration of the Ministry of Health and HIMSS. The event took place with the participation of public and private sector representatives and attracted intense attention from local and foreign software companies as well as public and private hospital managers.
 
HIMSS Eurasia 2018 Healthcare Information Fair and EMRAM Training Conference opened its doors to healthcare information professionals after the commencement of the session participated by Dr. Şuayip Birinci, the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, the Minister of Health of Malaysia, Dr. Filiz Besim, the Minister of Health of Northern Cyprus, Harold “Hal” Wolf III, the President&CEO of HIMSS USA and Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydın, the Rector of Medipol University, held at İstanbul Pullman Hotel on October 25.
 
Stating that a human-oriented approach is created thanks to technological developments which led to accumulation of knowledge and robust technological service infrastructure, Dr. Şuayip Birinci, the Deputy Minister of Health pointed out to the diversification of and logarithmic increase in people’s needs as well as rapidly changing dynamics due to population growth. He continued by saying: “With the ever-increasing population, a rapid change occurs in parallel. The world population was 1 billion when Industrial Revolution began. This figure exponentially rose to 7 billion in the last 200 years.”
 
Speaking on behalf of Medipol University, Rector Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydın expressed his gratification over hosting HIMSS Eurasia 2018 and said “I think we deserve hosting EMRAM training conferences, which draw audiences from Europe and Asia thanks to the digitalization and HIMSS accreditation of our hospitals recently. As Turkey, we take justified proud in this respect.”
 
John Rayner, HIMSS Analytical Europe and Latin America, United Kingdom Regional Director, expressed his views on “Sustained Care With Technology” in the session, which was moderated by Dr. Şuayip Birinci, the Deputy Minister of Health and featured themes such as chronic disease management, homecare services.  Claus Duedal Pedersen, Senior Advisor for Technology at Center for Innovativ Medicinsk, Charles Alessi, Senior Advisor to Public Health England and Chief Clinical Officer for HIMSS International, Sari Kaari, Project Manager at Finnish Health Village, Nurgül Balcı, Md, Homecare and Nursing Services Coordinator at Public Hospitals General Directorate and Nejat Çakmak, Md, Deputy Director at Sisoft were other speakers at the panel.
 
Sisoft’s booth was visited by Dr. Şuayip Birinci, the Deputy Minister of Health, Harold “Hal” Wolf III, the President&CEO of HIMSS USA, Dr. Filiz Besim, the Minister of Health of Northern Cyprus, Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, the Minister of Health of Malaysia, Prof.Dr. Talantbek Batyraliev, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Silvia Radu, the Minister of Health of Moldova and Sorina Pintea, the Minister of Health of Romania as well as healthcare and IT managers, professionals from many provinces.
